Korean Traditional Clothes : Hanbok

Hi all...........
Today I'm going to write about Hanbok.

Hanbok for woman
Yes right, this is the traditional clothes from Korea. Nowadays Korean people are not wearing hanbok all day long like the people from Joseon era. But Korean people still keep their Hanbok to be used for special times and another festive day in Korea, such as for wedding ceremony, religious service, and etc.

Hanbok is well know for having
many attractive colours. The clothes have many different colours and it is colored using natural dyes. Moreover hanbok is also well know for its design in which the upper part is narrow and the lower part is wide. What i really like from hanbok is the skirt part that is so wide and flexible so that i feel so graceful using hanbok. Not to mention all the time i walk using hanbok make me feels like dancing because its wide and flexible skirt.

Parts of Woman Hanbok:
On the top of our body, we will use "jeogori". Jeogori is the top part of the clothes that is formed along the boundary under the armpit. The front area is made longer to cover the chest area. Next, on the upper part, the woman will use "chima". Chima is a kind of skirt which is
round and expand. That skirt lengths from the chest and ranging up to cover the feet.

Part of Man Hanbok:

Jeogori for Men, in general, is slightly different compared to jeogori for women. For men, the size of jeogori is from the shoulder up to waist and even longer. Meanwhile, on the upper part of our body, the man will use "Baji". Baji is a pants that will be used to cover the upper part of man's body. The form of this pant is changing over the time.

The main point is i really feel beautiful using this beautiful Hanbok.

Me and Lee Bong Im Seonsaengnim
Hello everyone,
It's been a long time :)
Now i want to share my new activity to all of you. Yeah, from the title, i guess all of you know what i will write about.
I really enjoy my Korean Language Class right now. It's been about 1 year i study Korean language in Korean Cultural Center Indonesia (KCCI). KCCI itself located on 17th floor of Equity Tower, Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD), South Jakarta. There are 8 class levels if we study in KCCI: Sejong 1, Sejong 2, Sejong 3, Sejong 4, Sejong 5, Sejong 6, Sejong 7, until Sejong 8. Now i'm still in Sejong 2 Class. After pass the examination of each class level, you will get the certificate from KCCI.

My Sejong 1 Class

What i like about Korean Language Class in KCCI are:
1. The teacher is a native speaker so we get used to speak Korean in Class. Not to mention the learning method that is used by the teacher makes us get accustomed to speak Korean and to use Korean even more in daily activities.
2. I got many friends there. It's fun having class with the people that have the same hobby with you isn't it?
3. The place is great and comfortable, the library is filled with many Korean books, the computer room is great, helping us to understand Korean even more with all those facilities.
4. The most important factor why i like to have a course in KCCI is it's CHEAP. I think, compared with the other course place, this is the cheapest course place ever with the BEST quality. What i will say is i just have to pay Rp 800.000 to get one course level with the qualified teacher and the great classroom. Whoa, can you really imagine it?

So, don't think two times, let's register your self to come and join Korean language class in Korean Cultural Center Indonesia. Hope you will like Korean more through the language. I also hope someday i can go to Korea and practicing talk to Korean people with Korean Language that I've learned. :)
