JEJU ISLAND ITINERARY (3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS IN JEJU ISLAND)

Hello all, this time i want to share my experience traveling in Jeju Island. I went to Jeju Island around April 2017 and it's in spring. When spring comes later, i hope that you guys can go there too, so maybe this post can help you find some interesting destinations in Jeju Island.

I went to Jeju Island with a travel group. We spent 3 days and 2 nights for our trip. It's one day on the road (round trip) and two days full exploring Jeju Island. We went there not by airplane but by Ferry Ship that's why it needs extra time on trip. However no need to worry, the experience going by Ferry Ship itself is so interesting. It is kind of a new experience for me that's why i enjoyed it soooo much ^^

Here is the ferry ship that i boarded. It's huge and quite spacious. You can do many things in this ship. You can just sleep, enjoy the view from the deck, and you can just explore the ship. The facilities in this ferry ship include rooms, massaging chair, toilet, shower, snacks store, and etc.

Here is my itinerary for 3 days and 2 nights in Jeju Island:

Day 1
 - Go to Jeju from Seoul to the port by bus with my travel group (night before day 1).
 - Arrive at port, and then ready to depart to Jeju Island by ferry ship.
 - Arrive in Jeju Island, off to first destination, Manjangul Cave.
 - Off to second destination, Seongsan Ilchulbong.
 - Eating in traditional restaurant for dinner.
 - Go to Hotel to sleep and take a rest.

Day 2
 - Breakfast and depart to third destination, Cheonjiyeon Waterfall.
 - Arrive in Cheonjiyeon waterfall and explore.
 - Go to fourth destination, Jusangjeolli Cliff.
 - Go to fifth destination, Oedolgae rock.
 - Lunch and continue to go to sixth destination, Osulloc Green Tea Field.
 - Off to seventh destination, Iho Tewoo Beach. Had a super fun time here!!!
 - Last but not least, free time and off to eight destination, night amusement park.
 - Dinner
 - Go to Hotel to sleep and take a rest.

Day 3
 - Breakfast, morning walk, and enjoy the view around our hotel, which is located right in front of the sea.
 - Going back home to Sejong City :(

First Destination - Manjangul Cave

Manjangul Cave is the cave and tunnel which is naturally formed by the lava which flow to the surface. It is one of great natural attractions in Jeju Island. Located in Gimnyeong-ri, Jeju City, Manjangul cave is known as the longest lava tube in Asia. Even though it was formed around 200.000 years ago but in my opinion the site is still looks fine and well preserved.
When we enter the cave, we will go down the stairs. After that, just walk along the tunnel. Thankfully, the condition inside the tunnel is not dark because there are many lights installed in the tunnel to illuminate us throughout the walk.

Second Destination - Seongsan Ilchulbong

Seongsan Ilchulbong or "Sunshine Peak"is one of the Unesco heritage and also one of natural attractions located in Jeju Island. Like manjangul cave, this place was also naturally formed by the hydrovulcanic eruptions happened thousand years ago. This place is well known as the great place to enjoy sunrise so i recommend you to come at dawn, before sunrise. I came to Seongsan Ilchulbong in afternoon but I believe it didn't diminish the beauty of this place. In my opinion, if you come to this place, you will get the view of former volcanic mountain and the view of sea as well. So it is like complete package to enjoy natural beauty. You can climb to reach the peak of Seongsan Ilchulbong and also go down to arrive on the coast.

Third Destination - Cheonjiyeon Waterfall

If you come to Jeju, you can't miss visit the waterfall. Actually, there are some places with waterfall attractions in Jeju that you can visit. The place that I visited is called "Cheonjiyeon Waterfall". Amazing waterfall surrounded by the nature and feels very refreshing to go to this place. I also enjoyed taking photos in front of the waterfall and feeling the splash of the waterfall that touched my face.

Fourth and Fifth Destination - Jusangjeolli Cliff and Oedolgae Rock (Seogwipo)

In Seogwipo Area, there are quite many places to visit. At that time, our travel group went to two places, which are Jusangjeolli Cliff as Fourth Destination and Oedolgae Rock as our Fifth Destination.
As for Jusangjeolli Cliff, It was amazingggg. I was mesmerized by the view from the cliff. I didn't only see the natural cliff but I also can see the beautiful blue sea and hear sound of waves from the top of cliff.

Meanwhile, Oedolgae Rock is also called "Lonely Rock" in English. The rock is called Lonely rock because it stands alone in the middle of the sea, looks like alone and lonely. And if you are happen to be a fan of Jewel in The Palace / Dae Jang Geum Drama, you should also know that area around Oedolgae Rock is used for shooting location of that drama.

Sixth Destination - Osulloc Green Tea Field

If you are a fan of green tea, this will be the best place for you. Not only can you explore the green tea plantation field, but you can also learn the green tea making process into food or other products, learn the history of green tea plantation, and enjoy eating green tea food, snacks, drinks, ice cream, and etc. in the green tea cafe, which is located exactly in front of the green tea plantation field.

Seventh Destination - Iho Tewoo Beach

Iho Tewoo Beach. Super great beach to close our day in Jeju Island. Me and my friends were really having fun in this beach. We played around the beach, soaked our feet, walked on beach stones, eat snacks, and also took photos in front of the unique horse-shaped lighthouse which is located in the area of that beach.

Eight Destination -Fly Viking and Disco Bang Bang Jeju (Night Amusement Park)

Last but not least enjoying our free time. Me and my friends decided to go to night amusement park at Jeju downtown before we went back home. Had so much fun tried fly viking and also disco bang bang. It was my first time tried disco bang bang and i swear it would be my last time lol. Because at that time, the DJ/operator who controlled disco bang bang was so scary haha (because i'm a scaredy-cat) yet it was so mucchhh funn. It was definitely the most memorable memory I had in Jeju.
