Sulbing, Best Korean Dessert (Best Korean Bingsoo)

Hello dear friends, in this post, I want to take you to my favorite dessert cafe, "Sulbing". This dessert cafe can be easily found when you go to South Korea and is located in many cities.

When I was living in Korea, this dessert cafe has been my favorite all time. Every time I crave for bingsoo (korean dessert), I will always come to this cafe. And for your information, bingsoo is a typical Korean dessert containing shaved ice and various toppings.

The special thing about this cafe is the bingsoo (korean dessert) which is sold in this cafe comes with the variety of flavors and toppings. You can just choose your favorite one out of many options. My favorite one is Green Tea Sulbing. The bingsoo also come in a quite a large bowl so if you are not a big-eater, make sure you come with your friends to eat the bingsoo together ^^

Besides, not only providing bingsoo, but this cafe also provide other snacks such as toppoki pizza, bread, and other sweet snacks. As for the ambience of cafe, the cafe is really cozy and super comfortable place to hangout with your friends or even for date.

If it's your first time going to Korea, I recommend you to try Sulbing Cafe which is located in Myeongdong Area. Because the location is in the heart of Myeongdong, near the shopping area, so it is very easy to be reached. So, enjoyyyy!!!

Here are some of my favorite menus that I often eat in Sulbing Cafe:
Strawberry Sulbing
Toppoki Pizza
Super delicious toppoki pizza with toppoki and cheese :)

Let's Go To Jeonju

Hi dear friends,
Where will you go when you come to Korea for the first time? I believe most of you will answer Seoul City as a destination that you will visit when you come to Korea. But actually you should know, there are other cities that are worth to visit in South Korea, one of which is Jeonju. Now, let's explore Jeonju with me^^
  • How to Go
If you come from Seoul, you can go by bus. I recommend u to go by bus than KTX because it will cost cheaper than KTX.
First, u have to go to Seoul Central City Terminal to buy ticket and get on the bus to Jeonju from there.
  • What to Explore in Jeonju
1. Eating Bibimbap
Bibimbap is korean traditional mixed-rice contained with rice, egg, meat, and assorted vegetables. Well, maybe u can get bibimbap even in Seoul. But you should know that bibimbap is Jeonju special dish. That's why in my opinion, the flavor of Jeonju bibimbap is different with bibimbap that i've tried in other regions such as Seoul. Bibimbap in Jeonju is like the best bibimbap i've ever had in my life :) You must try eating bibimbap when u come to Jeonju.

2. Wear a Hanbok
As most of you know, hanbok is Korean traditional dress. In Jeonju, its famous with its Hanok Village and that's why you will see many people walk while wearing their hanbok. It's very normal to wear hanbok in Jeonju because most people will wear hanbok here. Not only international tourist, but you will also see local tourist (Korean people) wear their hanbok. When u come to Jeonju, It's like you enter the old Korean era. That's why you have to experience wearing hanbok here. If you don't have hanbok, don't worry u will see many stalls that rent hanbok so u can rent hanbok there.
3. Visiting Jeonju Hanok Village
Jeonju is well-known for its Hanok Village. It is like the must-visit destination when you come to Jeonju. In my opinion, Hanok village in Jeonju is very different with Hanok village in Seoul. In Jeonju, the Hanok Village area is quite large and compared to Seoul, the ambience of Hanok Village in Jeonju is more traditional. As i've mentioned above, it feels like u enter the time machine and go to old Korean era because u will see most people wear hanbok and the surrounding area is also filled with many Korean traditional architectures. In this hanok village, not only can you walk and take photos but you also able to buy many street foods. There are many stalls that sell street foods in the hanok village area and i think you should try eating street foods there coz most of the foods look super delicious.

Experience at SM COEX (buy EXO album, watch EXO Concert Movie at SM theater, hangout with friends)

Do you stan SM entertainment artists such as EXO, DBSK, and Super Junior? If you are one of fans from SM artists and you happen to be in Korea right now, you probably don't wanna miss out the chance to visit a very cool place related with your SM favorite artists.
The place that i mean is SM COEX. Here, you can see many things related with SM artists such as their awards, photos, or the clothes used for their music video recording. Besides, there is also the shop where you can buy music album and official merchandise such as lightstick, photobook, even they also sell official pillow lol >< maybe u can hug it when u sleep hehe :) As for me, i bought EXO "kokobop" album here. They also provide cafe so u can buy drink or cake and just hangout with ur friends here.

they even sell Chanyeol Pillow
And on the very top floor, you can experience watching at SM theater. I tried to watch the movie about EXO concert in that theater once with my friend and it seriously feels like i was watching the "real" concert. Maybe because they provide a very wide screen and a very good sound system, that's why when u come here u should try watch in the theater. Really recommended.

In my opinion, it is the heaven for you who like SM artists so obviously a must visit for u who like SM artists like me.
watch exo concert movie with my friends at SM Theater
How to go to SM COEX:

How to go to One Piece Cafe (Cafe de One Piece) in Seoul

Hello friends, this time i want to share my experience going to Cafe de One Piece, that is One Piece Cafe and Restaurant located in Seoul, South Korea. Actually, at first, i was quite surprised when one of my friends said that there is one piece cafe in Seoul. Because u know one piece is actually the anime from Japan. However after i lived in Korea i realized that there are so many one piece fans in Korea because i could easily find many one piece related souvenirs which are sold here. Even they also made this very special One piece cafe and restaurant in Seoul which i think so cool because the cafe itself is made to resemble "Going Merry" ship. So pretty and so huge, almost like the real ship.

In this cafe and restaurant, u can find many food and drinks with the unique name, coz they made the name resemble with the character's name in one piece such as chopper waffle and etc. But i considered that the food and drinks sold with a very high price ㅠㅠ

Furthermore, they also provide souvenir shop so u can buy and grab the souvenirs that u like.

Overall impression for me this place is very instagrammable but if u come for food or drinks maybe not really the best option.

How to go to cafe de one piece Seoul:
Use subway, get off at Hongik University station, come out at exit 9.
Then, you just go to front gate of Hongik university.
The cafe will be at the alley in front of Hongik University, exactly next to Starbucks.

Cofioca, Favorite Bubble Tea Cafe for Korean Idol

This time i'm going to share about a bubble tea cafe in Seoul, COFIOCA. This place is quite famous among Kpop Fans especially because many Korean Idols bought their bubble tea in this cafe.

As for the size, this cafe is actually small, with only two or three tables and several chairs, so obviously it's not really the place for a long time hangout. But still you can enjoy your bubble tea in the cafe if there are not many people there. When i visited this cafe, many people also buy and take away their bubble tea.

And if you are a fan of EXO, you probably knew that this cafe is known for Sehun and Luhan's favorite bubble tea. When Sehun and Luhan still became trainee in SM, they often hang out in this cafe and enjoyed their bubble tea here. It was a good old time memories, wasn't it?

Overall, I like the bubble tea sold in this cafe. The taste is quite good and the owner of this cafe is super nice. And the very special thing from this cafe is that you can find and see many signatures from many KPop Idols. This because Kpop Idols who bought bubble tea from Cofioca usually will give their signature on the paper and then the cafe's owner will stick that signature on the wall of cafe. So that you can see the walls are decorated with many Kpop Idols' signature. So cool !!!

Therefore, based on my opinion, I think this cafe is a must visit place for KPop fan. If you happen to be in Seoul, don't forget to try bubble tea here. Who knows that you can coincidentally meet your favorite Kpop Idols here. Because there are some experiences that Kpop fan coincidentally meet Kpop Idol in this cafe (I didn't meet though huu, but maybe you would). So, wish you luck!!!

How to go to Cofioca:
  • Use subway, get off at Apgujeong Rodeo, then come out from Exit 6
  • Then, keep walk straight, when you see Paris Croissant in front of you, turn to left.
  • After that, Keep walk straight, when you see GS25 turn to right.
  • That's it, after turn right, you could see Cofioca will be next to GS25.
